Will You be delighted
in me
when I have 
earned enough,
lived enough,
loved enough,
listened enough,
studied enough,
bowed down enough,
struggled enough,
suffered enough,
endured enough,
cried enough,
laughed enough,
grown enough,
learned enough,
tried enough,
failed enough,
written enough,
shared enough,
forgiven enough?
Will You be delighted 
in me
then – 
when I have given all I have to give,
when I have emptied out all of me 
into the nothingness of this world?
