Sometimes nothing will spill onto the paper from my pen.  Then, I often feel compelled to return to words I have written in the past. Today, I find comfort in this gem from February 25, 2021. I hope you don't mind the re-post, as I needed it for myself. 

In Layman's Terms*

 Father in Heaven, You are the One and only One who knows me. 
 Show me Your majesty here on earth, as I go about my day today. 
 Provide all I need to sustain me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 
 Forgive me of my humanity, as I have forgiven the humanity of those 
 whose paths have collided with mine. 
 And, in all this, protect me from the snares and lies of the evil one, 
 leading me out of the darkness and into the Light of Your Love. 
 For I know truth only in Your grace and mercy.
 Amen.
