The key to it all
was given to me early,
so early,
in this hard life…
and I loved it dearly,
so dearly
with all my heart.
If only I had known:
it wasn’t
the colors,
the characters,
or
the cinema
that I loved.
It was the message
– the key to it all –
“If I ever go looking
for my heart’s desire
again,
I won’t look any further
than
my
own
back
yard.”*
