Where once I preyed 
on others 
in the guise of 
service with a smile 
to attain 
oh, so fruitlessly, 
peace, fulfillment, applause, 
acclaim…

Today I pray 
for others
in the Truth of 
knowing my own heart 
is of God 
oh, so joyously, 
receiving love from Him 
for them…
