Advent Returning

I am waiting 
waiting for the Love of You
my Lord – 
as You have waited 
all my life
for my meager love
to return
to you.

How humble and grateful 
I am now – 
in this fifty-sixth season 
of waiting 
waiting for the Love of You
my Lord – 
for the one, or the many, or the few 
who created this season 
of waiting 
each year 
when my meager love 
returns to You.

    Jessica, good morning🌞 thank thank you for the reminder and thank you for your beautiful gift of the book a few years back.
    I thought I had set a reminder for myself for today, but I forgot 🤣😂🤣 so so thanks for being my reminder🤗 hope you’re having a nice day. Thank you for your support the other day. I probably sounded like I was doing LSD.(not that there’s anything wrong with that.🤷🏻‍♂️) :-))
