they sat together – 
daily busy-ness bustling around 
yet not distracting 
from the Center.

the conversation deep – 
challenging beliefs and pride 
yet not diverting  
from the Center.

voices not raised – 
filled only with concern for truth 
and not deflecting 
from the Center. 

it can be done – 
two of different mindset speak 
when focused firstly
on the Center.
