Your presence is always with me, dear Lord, 
I know.
Heighten my awareness 
with each bump on today’s road – 
give me strength to follow 
wherever You go – 
place memory of Your goodness 
all throughout my soul. 
For You have been with me 
on every narrow path, 
through the roughest of tides, 
in the darkest of nights – 
I have never been alone. 
I am dear to You 
even when I stumble 
especially when I fall – 
Your arms stretch across canyons to catch me 
to rescue me from my foes. 
Your presence is always with me, dear Lord, 
I know.
