This morning,
in the stillness
there was a moment
when faith took over.
All expectations
and attachments
faded away 
as the stillness 
filled with
a glow 
that enveloped my whole soul.
For that moment
everything that has been cloudy
became clear
and
everything unknown
became known.
Just then,
my neighbor left for work 
on his 
!MOTORCYCLE!
and my awareness jolted
back to self…
…gracefully though, 
as resentment tried to settle in,
the morning song of the birds outside my window 
beckoned,
and I felt 
the Word of my Lord
in their voices – 
Love thy neighbor – 
and then 
my whole soul
glowed again.
