May the stable of my heart 
 be filled always
 with the eternal light of Your Love.
 May I welcome all – 
 weary and exuberant
 powerful and destitute
 disgraced and seeking – 
 into the grace-filled compassion 
 of its Presence.
 For it is only by 
 the mercy of this gift that lies within
 that the stable of my heart
 will remain accessible
 to us all.
