Dear God:
 I ask today that You fill me with Your wisdom,
 for my mind alone cannot reconcile 
 this world around me.
 I ask today that you fill me also with Your mercy,
 for my heart alone cannot love my brothers and sisters 
 living in their humanity. 
 I have faith in Your guidance, and I trust in Your Word.
 Fill me with Your ways so that others may experience 
 Your grace through me.
