Dear God:
Help me to keep my focus on You today.
The world is so ugly right now – so hateful – so filled with judgment and contempt.
I need to see You in it all. I need to feel Your presence in my heart. I need to believe in Your plan – which I trust is so much greater than anything I could even comprehend.
Instead, I have been fearing the world and all the people in it. I have been fearing for our safety from each other in our hateful ways.
So please, God, help me to keep my focus on You today.
For, I do believe without any doubt, that You will be the only way I will have peace.
