Dear God:

I pray that You will relieve me of my attachment to fear. Release me from the worry that I will somehow not receive my share in this world – enough. Allow me to let go of this incessant need to garner respect and loyalty from those around me. Cleanse me of the rights that I await each day, as they do nothing but drive a wedge between me and others – and more importantly – between me and You. I pray that You will mold me anew – my whole heart, my whole mind, my whole soul – so that I may find peace in whatever and whoever comes my way today. Drop from me this cloak of self-righteousness, so that I may be born again in Your Truth.
