Dear God:
Attract my eyes today –
away from the cinematic madness
playing out before them on the grand stage
of this county.
Guide my eyes today –
on paths, while at times uncertain,
will lead only to Your peace
that passes all understanding.
I am lost in the madness without Your guidance.
Save me, O God, from the distraction of this world.
