Thanks be to God for my
unworthiness:
the mistakes I have made,
the lies I have told,
the hurts I have caused,
the blame I have cast,
the addictions I have fed.
For Jesus came
“to call not the righteous but sinners.”*
Where,
oh where,
would I be
now
if I had been worthy
when He came to me?
