In faith, I wake
and rise into the day,
trusting the path before me.
I work and play
and travel through each moment,
trusting God’s love will show me –
show me the needs
to speak – or be silent,
to listen – or walk away,
to act – or pause in prayer.
With each,
an acting on faith –
faith in the assurance that all I need
to say,
to do,
to contemplate,
will be given to me
by the One who knows
The Way.
