So much is going on right now.
Shopping, decorating, visiting, preparing, wrapping, cleaning, studying, writing…
the list is endless.
Where do I go to quiet my mind, to rest in the peace of my God?
How do I stop the noise between my ears, that tells me none of it is enough,
no one will ever be satisfied?
The problem of me can be so powerful at times,
loud and intense.
Is there a way to keep it at bay,
that struggle that brings unrest?

I must pause…
…in these days of Advent
and wait…
for the Answer to it all will come.
The Answer that brings peace
is on the way, about to birth…
…the Incarnation awaits
and will bring rest and calm
and enough
of everything for everyone
even me.
