Everything ever sought after 
for fulfillment
and
for honor
has become nothing – 
burnt away into 
piles of ash,
blown away 
by the One desire 
formed into my heart 
with this human birth.
Seeing now
the emptiness of the ash,
I can welcome in 
the unseen Presence of
the One
desire
joy
love
