O Lord, how long must I wait?*
These times when prayer is 
distracted and empty 
leave me 
longing 
and 
alone. 
And yet, 
I know I am not alone – 
that even when I cannot sense 
Your presence, 
You 
are 
there. 
O Lord, how long must I wait 
to be perfected in Your sight?
I’m certain the answer lies 
not 
on
this
side.
