Dear God:

Relieve me of my unbearable doubt in Your care for me 

and replace that newly empty cavernous hole 

completely 

with faith in Your love for me.

I need not know Your will for me – 

only that You love me – 

and that I certainly do know!

Grace my mind and heart this day 

with absolute trust in You alone; 

so that I may walk the path before me 

without the fear that petrifies me in place, 

or the doubt that demands to see Your face. 

Whether the road is rocky 

or the winding path unknown matters not. 

All that matters now is that You are with me, and You love me. 

May that be enough for me this day.
