Dear God,
My prayer today is simply this – 
Do not allow the noise of this world 
to distract me from You,
or from Your purpose for me
in each moment of this day.
I get so very weary and weak when bombarded with 
the clamor of desire, judgment, entitlement, and shame. 
Remind me in my weariness 
and in my weakness 
to keep my eyes on You, not this world. 
Remind me, 
Lord,
that I am Yours.
Amen.
