Sometimes darkness descends subtly over long interludes of time. Your eyes adjust naturally to the shadows and your soul slowly finds comfort in desolate corners. You begin to long for its nothingness to shield you from the terrors of this world. Within these subtle times, I pray you will remember this: the darkness is a liar, a terror of its own, skulking about in the shadows breeding confusion, angst, and belief in helplessness. Remember then its deceit and make your way out through trust and hope and faith, whose seeking has never left you lost – and always led you back to the Light.
