When Dorothy was stranded in Oz,
she did not pray
to be removed from her dream
or 
to be relieved of the fantasy – 
she just kept saying:
“I want to go home.”
The happy ending of her tale
was that when she awoke
she was in her own bed
she was in her own home.
Why then do I pray
for blocks to be removed
and
for doubt to disappear
when all I really want 
is an open mind
and
a faithful heart?
