Living in You 
there is no worry, 
no fear, 
no confusion – 
there is only 
peace 
and 
trust 
that need not be spoken –  
for its power to heal 
shines 
beyond 
words.

Yet, despite knowing all that, 
sometimes I choose to give my presence 
to the talking heads of this world 
and 
their lies that tempt me with safety –  
if only the noise of this world would stop… 
…then I could rest in Your peace… 

Wait – 
what if all the saints before me 
had delayed 
their dwelling in You 
until that lie became true?
