I see it has all been canceled –
everything you have been looking forward to
with great anticipation and excitement.
I see you feeling lonely and isolated –
staring at a screen filled with faces and knowing
no one sees you…not how you really are anyway.
I see you are afraid and worried –
as you watch the world fall apart before your eyes,
brother killing brother,
sister hating sister,
division everywhere around you.
I see you are heartbroken –
as so many people have died too soon from this horrible virus;
and as it continues to infiltrate your minds and hearts with
confusion and doubt and deception.
I see all of this and I ask you to
hear me now:
“I am making everything new!”*
