Dear God:
My prayer today is a simple one –
whatever is in me that is of You,
please highlight that in all the encounters of this day;
and,
in everything that appears on my path today,
show me the You within it all.
I need to feel the You in me,
to see You shining out of me.
I need to experience the You in every part of this day –
the people, the places, the things.
Right now, my mind tells me You are there,
everywhere.
My prayer today is a simple one –
please show Yourself to my heart.
