Confusion swirls
like the tornado that lifted Dorothy away
from her stable foundation of
familiar Love –
Oh, Oz, your colors are so pretty
and inviting,
your characters so entertaining
and fantastic –
yet, I cannot stand in this storied land,
where my balance is shaky,
and what’s real is not real at all.
So, I click my heals three times
and return to the stable foundation of
familiar Love
that has never led me astray.
