What words can help
if not spoken?
When held in the gut
they deepen the everlasting despair of
being unknown,
unloved,
and
unseen.
Those unspoken words
further bind the shackled victim
and torture unshared love
with grief.
Speak them instead
my sisters –
and free yourselves
from the man-made dungeons
in your soul.
