Today I pray
for Wisdom
to soak in to
the souls of
our leaders,
in the boardrooms
in the clubhouses
in the sanctuaries
and in all
the nations of the world.

Today I pray
for faith
to take hold of
the employees
the members
the congregations
and all
the citizens of the world –
faith, not in the leaders,
but faith instead
that God is, in fact,
saturating our leaders
with Wisdom,
and guiding them to use it.

These prayers, I know,
are large requests,
needing an enormous response
of Grace and Mercy;
yet, I pray them anyway,
believing, God, that You will
deliver us.
