The air circulating
within my lungs,
the bear slumbering
throughout winter,
the rain soaking
revival onto earth,
the birds chirping
sweetness every day,
the thunder clapping
where stillness reigns no more,
the lion devouring
the body of its prey…
…all has come
and gone
and come again
just as it always has,
just as it always will…
…new to me,
and maybe to you,
but nothing new under the sun.
