The God of Love is
larger than we will ever see
higher than we will ever climb
wider than we will ever hold
more than we will ever imagine

this is why we cannot embrace
the silence
of the God of Love
in the face of evil,
or the tenderness
of the God of Love
in response to hurt

for we cannot ever truly understand
that the silence
and the tenderness
of the God of Love
is actually
the part of God
that teaches us
how to Love.
