Dear DewdropsPlus Readers:

I have decided to give myself a mini-vacation from writing my blog for the rest of this week, and perhaps into next week. While writing gives me a great sense of comfort and inner peace (and also helps me to work through some major issues of discernment throughout my days), right now I just feel I need a break from it. If I have learned anything from my many years in recovery from my addictions, it is that without balance in my life, I will lose myself quickly. So, for now, I am going to rest from feeling the “I-have-to-write-my-blog” urge and ask for your patience as I take a few days to re-group.

I am most grateful to you, my 73 followers, who have consistently encouraged me and thanked me for the little ditties I provide during the work week. Your readership means more to me than I can put into words right now.

P.S.  Let us not forget all of those who lost their lives 17 years ago on this day to senseless violence in Manhattan, Washington D.C., Shanksville, PA, and four airplanes thought to be vessels for travel, but used as weapons. Let us remember the selflessness of all those who ran toward the destruction to help, and the immortal words of the beloved Father Mychal Judge (victim 0001 on that day), “Never be afraid to love.”
