for peace in my soul,
and in my heart,
and in my mind;
for butterflies
and daffodils
and warm sunshine.

for rest from angst,
and rest from worry
and rest from fear;
for doves that coo
and trees of green
and bright stars near.

I pray today
for willingness
and acceptance
and loving grace;
for kitten purrs
and white daisies
and full moon face.

I pray today
You’ll come to me
in a thousand ways
with the voice of praise,
reminding me
assuring me
Your Love remains.
